Overview
DenserBot is the customer-support half of Denser.ai, a California company that also ships the Sharper AI office assistant and the open-source Denser Retriever.
The product has two parts that are designed to feed each other.
An AI agent answers from your knowledge sources - website pages, documents, databases - across a chat widget, a help page, email, REST API, phone and WhatsApp, with install paths for WordPress, Slack, Telegram and Shopify.
When it cannot answer, the conversation moves into Helpdesk as a ticket with the transcript attached, a human replies, and that reply becomes a knowledge source the agent uses the next time the same question arrives.
The vendor calls this the one platform - agent plus helpdesk - loop, and it is the reason DenserBot is more interesting to a marketing team than a standalone chatbot widget. For marketers the loop is two plays at once.
The obvious one is support cost: the site publishes a curve showing the share of conversations resolved without a human climbing from 58% in week one to 81% by week four, and a Vantage Windows & Doors case study citing roughly 50% fewer tickets - both vendor-published numbers, but the mechanism behind them is sound, because an escalating share of questions genuinely stops recurring once the answer is captured.
The second play is content intelligence.
Denser's Answer Quality feature grades replies and clusters the questions your content never covered, which is effectively a research feed for the marketing team: those clusters are the FAQ entries, help-doc pages and landing-page sections that are missing.
DenserBot also connects to SQL databases, so price, stock and order-state questions can be answered from live data rather than a static doc, and the Lead Generation Chatbot configuration qualifies visitors and routes them to sales. Pricing is published rather than quote-only, and the annual discount is a flat 20%: Free (1 bot, 1 team member, 20 queries a month, 100 pages or 50 MB per bot), Starter $39 per month or $32 billed yearly, Standard $119 ($96 yearly), Business $399 and Enterprise $899.
The catches are the ceilings.
Starter allows a single team member and 100 pages or 50 MB per bot, which most real support sites pass in their first week of content sync, and everything that turns the product into a marketing asset - the helpdesk ticket queue, human escalation, Answer Quality insights and native Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk and HubSpot ticket handoff - starts at Standard $119 a month.
Query metering (1,500 a month on Starter, 7,500 on Standard, 15,000 on Business) is the other risk on a high-traffic launch, and no overage rate is published.
Private LLM deployment is an enterprise add-on, not a self-serve option.
Use Cases
Deflect repetitive pre-sales and post-purchase questions across web chat, email and WhatsApp with one knowledge base
Qualify visitors and route hot leads to sales while the AI handles everything that does not need a human
Answer live questions about price, stock or order status by connecting the agent to a SQL database
Turn recurring unanswered questions into a documented knowledge base that the agent then handles without a human
Replace a shared support inbox with a helpdesk queue plus AI triage on a Shopify or WordPress site
Who Is This For
E-commerce and DTC brands handling high volumes of shipping, returns and order-status questions
SaaS support and marketing teams that want one assistant across chat, email and help pages
Agencies running customer support for several client brands from a single platform
Teams with a documented knowledge base or public docs that want retrieval rather than scripted flows
Operations leads who want support questions turned into a documentation backlog automatically
Key Features
Retrieval-augmented answers with source citations
The agent answers from your own knowledge sources and cites where each answer came from, with a three-layer retrieval architecture the vendor says scales past 100,000 pages.
Helpdesk handoff with the transcript attached
Unresolved chats become tickets in Helpdesk with the conversation attached, and the team can escalate to live chat, email, WhatsApp, phone or a connected helpdesk.
Answer Quality scoring and content-gap clusters
Every reply is graded and unanswered questions are clustered, which turns support volume into a priority list of documentation and landing-page gaps.
Six channels from one knowledge base
Deploy the same agent to a chat widget, help page, email, REST API, phone and WhatsApp, with installs for WordPress, Slack, Telegram and Shopify.
SQL and database connectivity
Connect a database so the agent can answer live questions about pricing, inventory or order status instead of quoting a static document.

Pros & Cons
Pros
- Pricing is published end to end with a flat 20% annual discount: Free, Starter $39 ($32 yearly), Standard $119 ($96), Business $399 and Enterprise $899 per month
- The agent-plus-helpdesk loop is a real differentiator: unresolved questions become tickets, and the human answer becomes knowledge the agent reuses
- Helpdesk is not bolted on - ticket queue, human escalation and native Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk and HubSpot ticket handoff are part of the product
- One knowledge base feeds six channels (widget, help page, email, REST API, phone, WhatsApp) and installs for WordPress, Slack, Telegram and Shopify
- The free tier needs no credit card, so answer quality can be tested on your own content before any spend
- Answer Quality insights double as marketing research: the clusters show which questions your site and docs never answer
- Denser also publishes free utility tools (Chat with PDF, FAQ schema generator, support cost calculator) that are useful regardless of whether you buy
Cons
- Starter is capped at 100 pages or 50 MB per knowledge base and a single team member, a ceiling most real support sites exceed immediately
- Everything that makes it a marketing and operations tool - helpdesk queue, human escalation, ticket integrations, Answer Quality insights - requires Standard at $119 per month
- The free tier allows only 20 queries a month, so evaluation is limited to a demonstration rather than a pilot
- Query metering (1,500 on Starter, 7,500 on Standard, 15,000 on Business) can be consumed quickly by a high-traffic storefront, and no overage pricing is published
- Vendor-reported metrics such as 2,000+ active teams, 50% fewer tickets and a resolution rate rising from 58% to 81% are self-published and not independently audited
- Private LLM deployment is an Enterprise add-on, and there is no self-serve migration path from an existing helpdesk

Editorial view: the interesting part is not the chatbot, it is the loop around it. Unresolved conversations land in Helpdesk as tickets, and the reply your team writes becomes knowledge the agent reuses, which is why Denser can publish a resolution rate that climbs week over week - the vendor shows 58% in week one rising to 81% by week four, alongside a Vantage Windows & Doors case citing about 50% fewer tickets, all self-published figures. For a marketer the by-product matters as much as the savings: Answer Quality clusters the questions your content never answered, which is a ready-made backlog for FAQs and landing pages. Budget Standard at $119 a month rather than Starter, because Starter allows one team member and a 100-page knowledge base, and read the query ceilings against your traffic before committing.
